NON-LIMITED LOCALITY

This work looks at the surface of the sea, on that plane where the substantial and insubstantial meet.

The sea, like the imagination, is in essence indeterminate – uncertain in extent, amount, or nature. Like the sea, living perception is in constant flux.

The dialogue that occurs between the two elements of air and water resembles the dialectic of the physical world on our perception and imagination. The sea is familiar yet at the same we can hold no one singular image of the sea in our minds.
