ABOUT

Clare Cashman lives and works in the Conamara Gaeltacht. She studied Fine Art Painting at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin. Since graduating in 2002 she has been awarded the CAP Foundation Art Award, the Tony O’Malley Travel Award for Painters, an Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon bursary, a Deontas ó Ealaín na Gaeltachta Teo and a media residency from Visual Artists Ireland.

Group exhibitions, include 'Folkatronica' at the Sugar Club, Dublin, 'Thirty Two Thousand Years Later’ at Pallas Projects, Dublin, ‘C2’ at the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork, ‘Travelogue’ at the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny, ‘Paintings’ at the RHA, Dublin & 'H2O' at the Model in Sligo.
